Datasets for '2020 Mu2e sensitivity updates (in progress)
- SU2020 stands for "'2020 Mu2e sensitivity Updates"
- consider two channels - mu- --> e- and mu- --> e+
- signal windows are different, roughly speaking, [103.5-105] MeV/c and [90.5-92.5] MeV/c , so some background datasets could be the same, but some - unique for a given signal channel
mu- --> e- channel
CE (conversion electrons)
DIO
- need 'single particle' and 'mixed' datasets
Cosmics
- a placeholder
RPC
In principle, RPC dataset could be reused for both channels
- internal conversions
- external conversions
- in-time vs out-of-time
RMC
- RMC background in mu- --> e- channel is negligible, but could be a dominant one in mu- --> e+ channel. - for mu- --> e+, need 'single-particle' as well as 'mixed' datasets
- internal conversions
- external conversions
antiprotons
antiproton dataset can be reused for both channels , no need to generate bars with mixing
